Why Greek first?
Greek is one of the oldest written languages in the world and is spoken by millions of people in Greece and Cyprus. Its alphabet looks unfamiliar at first, but most learners can read it after a few days of practice. Greek also gave English thousands of words, from democracy to photograph, so many words feel familiar once you know the letters.
